The lobby area looks nicer than the rooms. I find it strange having the bathroom sink located outside the bathroom. They have a rooftop theatre I would've wanted to check out during summer. Location is great if you like being near good food spots and near Google office.

Stayed one night and it was perfect location by food and drink. Room was gorgeous. The lobby is stunning. Valet and check in super easy! Would definitely stay again! Coffee shop was delicious as well.

It is very nice and functional. Would like more hooks in the bathroom for towels. Music in the restaurant was very loud. Staff are friendly, and helpful. The coffee shop opened 40 minutes late one morning that was not good. I wish they had a comfortable chair in the rooms. It was clean good location and very pleasant staff.

Our stay at the Emily was perfect. Before we arrived, we emailed with Maria, the Sales Manager, at the Emily and she helped us to arrange a private space for my husband and I to have our first look on our wedding day, which was so kind and helpful. When we arrived, the room was clean and warm, which was very welcome during the frigid weather we were having. We booked a suite and it was more than big enough for 8 girls to get ready in, along with 3 makeup artists and 2 photographers. When we left to get on the bus to our wedding, it was raining badly. The gentleman downstairs by the door led me outside under his umbrella and walked with me all the way across the street to the bus. We are so appreciative of the kindnesses extended to us from various employees of the Emily Hotel and we look forward to visiting again!

The Emily is such a cute hotel! It was perfect for an overnight trip to see a concert at the United Center. I've stayed in more expensive hotels in Chicago, and for the price ($280 w/ taxes- King bed) and the location, you'll be hard pressed to find a better hotel. The staff is incredibly friendly, the pillows and beds were comfortable, and we didn't hear any other guests coming or going even though our room was by the elevators. The only thing that I found a bit inconvenient was it took a while for the hot water in shower to heat up, and I didn't love the design (shower and toilet in the same room, no shower door) But over-all the room was 9 outta10! Also, it was nice to have a coffee shop available on property that wasn't Starbucks. I appreciated being able to grab a small bite early and not venture out to a find a restaurant at 6 a.m. The hotel is a short walk from the L, and the Fulton Market is full of great restaurants. After the concert, we walked back to the hotel. The neighborhood is safe, and it only took 30 minutes. I will book another stay at The Emily the next time I'm in Chicago.
